I haven’t used the Sale-A-Bration set, Beautiful Peacock for a while, so today is the day! It’s just so darn pretty done up in Gold Emboss powder!
I think that adding the Lemon Lime Twist adds to its golden prettiness, don’t you? I also used a Sponge Dauber to add a little Daffodil Delight ink to the stamp to add a little extra to the tail feathers.
This one follows along with The Paper Players sketch and it was natural to pull a pattern from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper. I think this pattern blends in nicely with the tail feathers of the Peacock.
Here’s the full list of products that I used.

Don’t forget to check out my Class Calendar for upcoming classes. I’d love for you to join in on the stamping fun!
I like the way you’ve paired the peacock with the specialty paper – I never thought of that but it’s such a good match! I agree she looks great in gold with Lemon-Lime and a dash of Daffodil too. Lovely work, Cynthia. Thanks for joining us again at The Paper Players.
Thanks so much Jan. That paper was sitting on my table and, as they say, the light came on!
I really like this with, what some would say, non-traditional colors for a peacock. The DSP showcases that pretty image perfectly! Thanks for playing over at The Paper Players this week!
Thank you Annie.
Wow, I would not have thought to put the lime and gold together, but you’re right, it does look awesome! What a beautiful creation! I love how your greenery “frames” the sentiment! Thanks for playing with the Players this week!
Thanks so much LeAnne. I truly enjoyed creating this card, that is such a beautiful stamp set!
