It’s Monday and I decided that it was time to try a new type of card!
It’s called “criss-cross” and is easy and fun to create. It also makes a great gift card holder…..
….and, as you can see, the piece of basic white comes out for you to write your special greeting. (I also used the Retired Envelope Punch Board to round those corners)
I used the Free As A Bird stamp set(149468) and Stampin’ Blends to colour it to play along with the SUO Challenge this week.
Here’s the list of products used.

If you would like to find out how to create a card like this, I visited this blog for the details.
Happy creating and stamping!
So gorgeous, Cynthia, this is still my fave bird set! And it’s perfect for markers to boot! Thanks so much for playing at SUO!
Thank you Heather.
Oh wow Cynthia your birds are so beautifully coloured in such little darlings. Love the design of your card and the dsp you’ve used makes it so exquisite might need to give this fold a go myself! Thanks for taking part in the SUOchallenge hope to see you next time x Natalie
Thank you so very much Natalie, I sure do like those little birds!
Aww, I love your sweet little bluebirds, Cynthia! I used the same image for my card, but I think I like how you colored your birds better than what I did 🙂 And what a great idea to pair them with that Hand Penned DSP, they look amazing together. Thanks for playing along with us at SUO Challenges, hope to see you again for our next challenge starting soon!
So do I, thanks so much Christy.
