Hi there! We can sure see that spring has arrived up here in northeastern BC! We just can’t seem to officially call it spring without the occasional snowflake mixed in with the rain! LOL, well it does encourage the Tulips to pop, so I won’t complain too much,
Besides, it inspired me to create this tulip-focused Mother’s Day card!
Lots and lots of tulips on this one – I used Valita’s tutorial to make these sweet little 3D tulips, the “Framed Tulips” embossing folder and a piece of the “Summer Smooches” designer paper.
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Messages for Mom(Retiring 117016)
Card Stock: Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Whisper White, Summer Smooches Designer Series Paper(125409)
Ink: Island Indigo Classic(122937)
Accessories: Big Shot(113439), Ovals Die(Retiring 114525), Framed Tulips Embossing Folder(121809), Designer Frames Embossing Folder(123130), 5-Petal Flower Punch(Retiring 119880), Bird Builder Punch(117191), Modern Label Punch(119849), 3/16″ Corner Punch(119871), 3/8″ Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon(109070), Mini Glue Dots(103683), Snail Adhesive(104332), Simply Scored Scoring Tool(122334)
There are 3 retiring products in the recipe for this card, Messages for Mom stamp set, the 5-Petal Flower Punch and the Ovals Die for the big shot. I wonder what will be replacing them? In the meantime, you really need to check out the Retiring Lists so you don’t miss out.
