A big Friday hello to you. Hope your week has been going great – I’ve sure been busy in my stamp room this week.
I was looking for some more ideas to use the Twitterpated Designer Fabric and came across a card project in the January 2012 issue of Cardmaker using a quilting theme. I decided to play using paper and came up with this card.
This is 5-1/2″ square and uses quite a few different patterns from the Twitterpated package. The thin red strips bordering inside the scallop square are 1/4″ x 3-1/2″ and the squares in the centre were cut using the Postage Stamp punch(and darn it, they are crooked!).
The pleated satin ribbon and the sentiment from “Loving Thoughts”(Occasions Mini page 15) add just the right finish. (If you click on the picture you’ll also be able to see the pearls I added)
