Good morning to you. I seem to be on a wedding theme these days. Well, ’tis the season and today I have a simple card that can be used as an invitation or a simple greeting for the happy couple.
The colors are two of Stampin’ Up’s! Incolors for this year, Concord Crush and Blushing Bride. These are colors that are added each year to the already excellent Color Collections that Stampin’ Up! has for you to choose from.
I’m using Elements of Style again and this time I randomly stamped the flourish on Blushing Bride cardstock with Blushing Bride Classic ink.
The greeting comes from Everything Nice and I used a Stampin’ Write marker to ink up the portion of the greeting on the stamp. If you are using a Marker to ink up your stamp, then you need to “huff” on it before you stamp it on your cardstock. After the greeting was stamped I added a portion of the flourish stamp in Blushing Bride.
The satin ribbon was tied in a double bow using Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow Maker(such a cool tool!) and I just had to add those lovely Rosettes!
That’s it, simple and sincere for the recipients. Change the greeting and you have a simply lovely wedding or shower invitation!
