Hi friends. That’s right – no tea today. It is WORD Wednesday and I have a new word for the month of February! I thought of the obvious for the month of love but decided to go with something a little different. How does “HUGS” sound to you?
We’ll start with the letter “H” for today and the stamp set is a great background stamp from the Idea Book & Catalogue(big catalogue) called “Hello, Doily”.
I made this a 5-1/2″ square card so I could also use the Hearts Framelits and the beautiful Paper Doily Sizzlit as well as a Free choice from Sale-A-Bration called “Outlined Occasions”(with a $60 purchase).
Hello, Doily was stamped onto Poppy Parade card stock with Whisper White craft ink and then heat embossed with White emboss powder. Then I ran it through the Big Shot with the second largest and third largest Heart framelits. Cool!
Tip: The Paper Doily Sizzlit takes a little extra work but is sooooo worth it! The trick is to use new Standard Cutting Pads and a shim in order to get a clean cut and to make it easier to poke out all the tiny pieces. Works beautifully!
