On my shelf – that’s where! Good Morning and today we’re going to spend a little time with Tess. I had so much fun stamping with this set. Take a look.
I paired Tess with the Level 1 set, Swirls & Curls Verses from the Summer Mini catalogue and added lots of little flowers.
The card base is Melon Mambo and so are all those tiny flowers! I adhered a piece of designer paper from the Patterns Pack onto a mat of Daffodil Delight card stock, tucked it inside the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot.
Tess was stamped onto Shimmery White card stock with Stazon Jet Black ink and then colored with Stampin’ Write Markers.
That swirly greeting was stamped with Versamark and then heat embossed using the bright new Melon Mambo Emboss Powder.
It’s a good thing I wasn’t timing myself for this card, those tiny flowers and Bitty Buttons took some time to place. I did find an easier way to tie the knot though – thread the Baker’s Twine through the button then add a Mini Glue dot to the bottom center and attach it to the card. It will hold while you tie the knot. Here’s a couple of pictures for you…
It was quite a bit of fussing, but I think it’s cute. You can find the Baker’s Twine in the Summer Mini catalogue on page 10.
