Summer is on the way – it just seems to be taking it’s time! Well, OK then….. I decided to create my own summer and pulled out a brand New Hostess Set(available to you starting June 1st) called, appropriately, “Summer Afternoon”!
I’ve been wanting to create a Gate-Fold card and felt that this image would be perfect. Isn’t that little dog cute?
I stamped that image twice. Once on Very Vanilla card stock and then again………….
…on Watercolor Paper using Stazon Jet Black ink. You see I wanted the recipient to have a happy surprise when they opened this card and that image just called out to be water-colored!
The Aqua Painter is perfect for this, and, did you know that there are 2 tip sizes in the package? We have 1 medium tip for those smaller spaces and a larger tip to take care of the larger images.
I used another brand New Hostess set called “Wacky Wishes” to add the birthday greeting inside.
