It’s another snowy morning in Northeast British Columbia, not unusual for this time of the year though – so – we carry on.
Today’s post shows a project we did in the Sunny Stampin’ Classroom this week. A heart-shaped treat box. Slip something yummy in it and you have a lovely gift for that special someone in your life.
Supplies used are Pretty in Pink and Real Red CS. Emboss the front piece with the Big Shot and Flourishes Texturz Impressions plate and decorate. I stamped the heart image from Simply Said, cut it out and layered it on Pretty in Pink cut with the Large Heart Punch. Remember when we were in school and used to cut hearts out of a piece of folded paper? Well, that technique was used to layer the hearts on the closure flap with a piece of Sending Love Designer paper. A fleurette with a Pretty in Pink Sending Love brad and a lovely bow using the new and yummy satin ribbon finishes it off.
Now, I’m off to try Carole’Anne and Sandi’s 10-min challenge. I’m determined to make a card in 10 minutes! Wish me luck and we’ll see you tomorrow.
Cheers;
Cynthia
