Where on earth has time gone? It’s the last Monday in July already! Well, that’s ok because I’m still building up my stash of birthday cards and had fun making a frame with this one.
I really like the dies that go with the Color & Contour stamp set and that’s what I used to create this framed picture. I started with the Pattern Party designer paper for the card front and then needed a more subtle background so went with the Expressions in Ink designer paper.
A Blending brush(153611) was used to end up with those pretty flowers. I added the colour to a piece of Basic White and then stamped the images with Versamark. Sometimes it’s difficult to get the die placed just right, but I found a way to mark the stamp and die so cutting the images out is much easier.
Look closely and you can see the tiny mark on the top of the stamp and a matching mark on the die. (I used a Sharpie for this) Make sure to stamp each image with the marked part at the top so it’s easier to place the die.
Then you get a perfect cut every time!
Here’s the list of products used.
