A FIELD OF FLOWERS

Hi, where do I begin with this card?  We are dealing with a veritable field of flowers!

This card is a little different for me as I usually go with a more subdued background, but gee these flowers from the Mixed Media Florals Designer series paper are pretty!

I started with the Mixed Florals Bundle and coloured and die-cut that bunch of tulips and also coloured those tiny lady bugs!  I used a trio of reds(Real Red, Poppy Parade and Cherry Cobbler) to get some subtle shading on the tulips and went with Daffodil Delight for the tiny flowers in the bunch.  A combination of Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green was used for the leaves and stems.

I’m liking the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing Folder a lot so used it for the small mat after adding a light bit of Cloud Cover(166716) to highlight the texture.  Then for good measure, after stamping the sentiment from The Right Words(165316) popped the label shape into the same embossing folder.
