SHADES OF YELLOW

Hi there, I hope that you had a great weekend.  The weather up here was a “little of this – a little of that” but all in all a great weekend for us.  It also gave me some time to stamp and I have this bright yellow card for you today.

I was checking out the Splendid Autumn designer paper pack(164173) and felt that this bevy of sunflowers was perfect for a summer-y card.  So, out came Lemon Lolly cardstock and then I got fancy by cutting this image into 3/4″ strips to fit a 4″ by 5-1/4″ space.

After adhering it down, I pulled out the Lifetime of Love stamp set(162574) and matching Dies(162583) and stamped, coloured and cut out that tiny bunch of pretty sunflowers.  I used Stampin’ Blends with touches of the Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker as well as the Early Espresso Stampin’ Write Marker to add a bit more colour.

The sentiment is from the Wonderful Thoughts stamp set(161899) and matching dies(161491).
