Hi there. I was playing around with the Plaster Painting 3D Embossing folder(164656) and came up with this card!
Now how’s that for texture? Yes, there is an oval shape there and I embossed it first and then embossed the 4-1/4″x5-1/2″ piece. In order for the designs to match, I left the oval inside and then placed the larger mat to get the pattern match. Then, the oval was carefully removed and we have matching textures!
Note: You could leave them both in the folder at the same time, but the design wouldn’t be as sharp.
I used the sentiment and Pretty Peacock leaf spray from the Charming Day Bundle(166136) and the flowers are from the Extraordinary Flora Bundle(165245). I coloured the flowers first and then cut them out with the matching die so i could use the colours that are part of this new challenge from The Paper Players.
Here’s the list of products used.

Beautiful, Cynthia! I love the technique you used to create such yummy texture! The delicately colored flowers show off the challenge colors perfectly. Thank you for playing in my challenge at The Paper Players this week!
Thanks so much Ann.
This is beautiful! I really like the delicacy of that bloom against the textured layers. Of course, I am a texture lover too! Thanks for sharing with us at The Paper Players.
Thank you fellow texture lover. 😊
Cynthia, fabulous job making the textures in the background for for the background and the focal layer! All that texture works together beautifully. Your pop of color with the soft florals is fabulous. Gorgeous card. So glad you shared it with us at the Paper Players this week
