REACHING OUT FOR CHRISTMAS

Hi.  I seem to be going from autumn to Christmas this week, but it is fun and just shows what one can do with different stamp sets!  This is a clean and simple card for you today.

This was created with the Branching Out stamp set(165771) which gives the opportunity to add layers with just the stamps and ink.  I started with the branches in Pecan Pie, added the evergreen bunches with Garden Green, those cute little acorns with Pecan Pie again and then the red berries in Real Red.  It’s all about placement and the stamps in this set make it quite easy to do!

I wanted to add a bit of texture so used the Words for the Season Dies(165797) to add the sentiments.

I’m playing along with this new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches this week, which is a great starting point for today’s card.

I was also delighted to see that this card was one of the winners from last week.  Thanks so much to the Freshly Made Sketches team.
