SQUARES ALL AROUND

Hi, today’s post features a square card with squares all around it – sort of!

I started with a piece of Barely Blush cardstock cut at 5″ x 10″ and scored in the centre at 5″.  Then I pulled out the Artisan Sketched designer series paper(167752) and cut 1-1/4″ squares of three different patterns.

One of the pages in this package has a design of different containers of flowers, so I chose one and coloured it to stand out on all of those black and white squares.   I used a simple sentiment from the Banner Sayings Bundle(167051) and we have a great card to send to someone special.

The whole idea for this card was inspired by this new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches this week.
