DRAMA MONDAY

Hi and welcome.  Today’s card features a little bit of drama!

Red and black make for a little drama and I went with it.  I started with the Boutique Blossoms Bundle(167654) and heat embossed that lovely blossom in Black emboss powder.  Then I used the Light shades of Real Red, Cherry Cobbler and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends to add the colour.  A little help with the Stampin’ Blends Color Lifter(144608) helped with the shading.

I backed up the leaves with just a hint of Crushed Curry so they would stand out a little as well.  The Barely Blush Frame from the Phrases & Frames Bundle(167587) added just the right softness instead of Basic White.

I was inspired to use the colours in this new challenge from TGIF Challenges and went in a completely different direction than the picture below.
