LET’S WATERCOLOUR

Hi, I’m posting one more sunflower project done just a little differently.

I used the Sunflower Fields Suite Collection again and CASED this project from page 27 of the 2026 Sept-Dec catalogue.

I haven’t watercoloured in a long time so pulled out the Watercolour Pencils collections 1 as well as collection 2 for this.  Two of the sunflowers bundles were stamped with Versamark and then embossed with Gold Emboss powder.  After letting them cool for a few minutes(important to wait so you don’t smear the gold) I started colouring.

The colours I used are Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Garden Green and Granny Apple Green.  The technique I used was to add colour with the pencils and then use a Water Painter(168253) to spread the colours.  I used two colours for each flower and leaf and blended them carefully.

It’s fun and relaxing technique and I encourage you to give it a try.
