SUNSHINE AND A SUNFLOWER

The skies have been pretty clear and the sun has been shining brightly over the past few days.  The perfect weather for sunflowers to bloom.

Today’s card has just one bright sunflower from the Autumn Harvest stamp set and a fun technique too!  This stamp set will be available for you to purchase on September 1, 2017 from the Holiday Catalogue.

I used the sketch layout from CAS(E) this sketch as my starting point and just went from there.

That faux brick wall behind the sunflower was made using our new Embossing Paste and the Pattern Party Decorative Masks.  After I had applied the paste, I set the card aside to dry for a while while I stamped and fussy-cut out the sunflower and leaf.  They looked a little lonely on the card so adding the stem piece from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits was the perfect way to go.
