Welcome to you! I was working with a technique or two over the weekend so today’s card features the Masking Technique.
The Floral Essence stamp set(149450) is a very pretty set that uses 2-step stamping. However, I wanted to use our Stampin’ Blends to colour these pretty blooms so used a “mask” for placement.
I stamped the bloom onto a Post-It note and cut it out. Then, after stamping the first bloom, laid it over top and stamped the second bloom. The mask is a great tool to use when you want to build up your bundle of blooms.
If you haven’t checked out the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo(153620), I recommend that you do. It’s great and the colours work with just about every project! I layered the plaid over the white for a little more interest.
