Today’s card features a basketful of juicy red apples. We love apples and usually have a bunch in our fridge waiting to be eaten!
So, I pulled out the Cheerful Basket Bundle(158680) and had a ton of fun with Stampin’ Blends! I used Sweet Sorbet for the apples and Granny Apple Green for the leaves. I wanted a few apples scattered so instead of cutting them out of cardstock, just used a Stampin’ Blend to add a splotch of each colour on basic white and used the tiny dies to cut them out. That way, the colour shade stays close to the bunch in the basket. I added shading with the dark Stampin’ Blend after they were cut out. Don’t they look so cute?
Why was I thinking of apples? Well besides the fact that we like them, to play along with The Paper Players food or drink challenge for this week.

Lol, you sure do Jennie. Thank you.
Such a sweet card, Cynthia! I especially love the little trio of loose apples and those itty bitty leaves. Like Jennie, you just convinced me that I need to get this set, too. Thanks so much for joining us the week over at The Paper Players!
Lol, glad I could help Anne Marie. Thanks.
