A BRIGHT BIRTHDAY GREETING FOR A BRIGHT BOY

Hello and welcome. I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas with family and friends. We had a fun time and even braved the Boxing Day shopping crowds. A rare thing for us – but it was fun!

I found the Stampin Royalty Sketch 51 very intriguing this week and decided to play along. My darling Grandson has a birthday coming up in January so Animal Stories was the stamp set of choice! The card base is Pacific Point with a mat of Bashful Blue. I love the paper in the Celebrations Designer package and used several designs to highlight the brightness of this card. The elephant from Animal Stories just seemed right as my Grandson does have a “memory like an elephant”! The greeting comes from the Level 1 Hostess set, Afterthoughts and was stamped directly on the designer paper with the help of my trusty Stamp-a-ma-jig(love this tool).

Circles is the theme on this card so I made good use of our circle punch and the Big Shot. I love the Big Shot and you will find that I use it a lot!
