A CANDY CANE CHRISTMAS WITH TESS

and here is what I did with it!

It was long past time to bring Tess out of the cupboard. I actually got the inspiration to use Tess from Mary Jo, who designed this card using Tess.

I’ve come to really like the Candy Cane Christmas Designer paper, it has such fun images! In my mind, Tess is a fun type of girl – so it just seemed right to use it. The narrow stripe across the bottom is actually a piece of the Designer paper matted onto Real Red cardstock. I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig to add the snowflakes from Serene Snowflakes to the circle, coloured Tess with those marvelous Stampin’Write Markers, and added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the snowflakes. It’s difficult to see it in the picture, but it is there. The sentiment was cut out with the Curly Label punch and matted on a piece cut from the Decorative Label punch. Silver Glimmer Brads finish it off.
