Today I’m playing along with two great challenges and came up with this card.
Create with Connie and Mary challenged us to use the combination of Cajun Craze, Hello Honey and Basic Black. I also needed a good sketch to follow so pulled up the Mojo Monday sketch for help!
The Grateful Bunch Bundle was my focus and instead of leaving the background a little too blank, I decided to add the Hardwood in Sahara Sand. After inking up the Hardwood stamp set, I “stamped it off” to lighten the background so the leaf sprays would show up a little better. What do you think of this card? Very nice! Love the woodgrain as a backdrop. I like that you just have “touches” of the black. These colors are very heavy colors so the white helps to lighten and brighten them up! Thanks for playing the Create with Connie and Mary color challenge this week!
