Good Morning and Thank You for stopping in. It is hard to believe that August is almost over and back to school time is just around the corner! And that thought leads to these cards. I’m playing with the “BACK TO SCHOOL” theme at Create with Connie and Mary this week. It is such a fun theme and since my grandson, Jayden, starts Grade 1 this year and his sister, Isabella, starts Grade 3 it just seemed right! I couldn’t just make one card, so we have one with a more boyish feel and one that’s a little more girly.
I chose the clear-mount stamp set, First Day, and bright colours for these and added a page from the new Play Date Designer Series Paper(117168). The cute little bookworm was stamped with Stazon Jet Black and then I used a Blender Pen, Classic Ink pads and the Blush Blossom Stampin’ write Marker to give him some colour.

Accessories: 1/4″ Whisper White Grosgrain Ribbon, 3/16″ Corner Rounder Punch, Scallop Edge Border Punch, 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch, Blender Pen
