Good Day to you. It’s a wet one today, but our lawns and gardens needed a good drink to bring on that fresh green springtime look. So, why not spend some time stamping? That’s just what I have done. This card uses Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch as well as the color challenge
at Create with Connie and Mary. The challenge is to use Garden Green, Pumpkin Pie, Night of Navy, Bashful Blue and Kraft. I instantly thought of the new and fun Travel Journal Designer Paper(pg 23 Summer Mini) for this and got to work. Mary Jo’s sketch is a great one and it fit perfectly into my plans.
I stamped the airplane from the Sentimental Journey (pg 22 Summer Mini) with Night of Navy Classic ink, overstamped with Versamark, sprinkled it with Clear Embossing Powder and heat set it. The Itty Bitty Buttons made a great accessory to the compass image and I added a knot of Linen Thread to accent the compass directions. Tip: place a mini glue dot on the back of the button after threading them to hold the thread in place while you tie it off – much easier!
