A PLAY DATE WITH FRIENDS

Welcome and a good Tuesday morning to you. Today is a Play Date with Create with Connie and Mary and a bright and cheerful Inspiration challenge. Isn’t that a colorful picture? There are a lot of things going on there, so I decided to focus on the colours and the “Rock On” statement. The card base is Marina Mist and a dash of Daffodil Delight and Real Red was added.

I used the stamp set Friends Rock(113816) and stamped the guitar image first in Marina Mist classic ink on the Whisper White image panel and then again on a scrap piece. The guitar was then coloured with Stampin’ write Markers, cut out and then popped up on the panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to position the sentiment “you rock” on a circle and then layered that on circles of Marina Mist and Real Red. Two lengths of 1/8″ Marina Mist Taffeta ribbon tied with a tiny bow finish the project.
