Good morning and my apologies for being short on posts this week. I have been working on a tutorial for you to create this “waterfall” gift card holder.
You will need to cut 2 pieces of Cherry Cobbler card stock at 5-1/2″ x 10″. Score the long side at 4″, 6″ and 8″ and then trim from the top to 2-1/2″ so you end up with 2 triangular pieces that looks like the picture below.
Apply the Tear & Tape adhesive as shown above and attach both pieces so you end up with a long piece as shown below.
Now add the Designer paper of your choice ( I used This Christmas DSP). You will need 2 pieces each that measure 2″ x 3-1/2″ , 2″ x 4-1/2″ and 2″ x 5-1/2″. Adhere them with SNAIL adhesive and then trim with your Paper Snips.
Create the inside pocket using Whisper White card stock and then add the Tear and Tape to the back on 3 sides so you have an opening for the Gift Card.
Once you have adhered it to the centre of the card you will need to create a band to keep it closed. I used a 1″ x 11″ piece and fitted it over the closed card to make the folds.
Use Tear & Tape Adhesive a shown to ensure that the band is secured and won’t come apart.
Once you have completed the band, create a cute tag to place on the centre. I used one of the great verses from the Tin of Tags stamp set.
And, there you have it. Something for you to do over the weekend!
Here’s the full list of all the products I used.
Take care, stay warm and Happy Stamping!
