Hello and welcome. It’s a rainy Thursday, but that’s a good thing because it has been so dry and hot here the past while. It’s good to see the grass greening up. It’s timely too because today’s project is using this week’s challenge from Late Night Stampers. We are to use blues and to give an “Under the Sea” feel to our projects.
I based my sample on Mary Jo’s Technostamper (TSSC134) sketch.
The card base is Pacific Point.(appropriate as I live on the Pacific side of Canada). I used the new background stamp, Wonderfully Worn(118533)on the card base and Inspired by Nature(111656) to give the feel of seaweed on Bashful Blue and then covered it with White Vellum Cardstock(101856). The edges of the vellum were sponged with Pacific Point and Bashful Blue to add a little extra “water”. The little whale from Animal Stories(116716) just had to make his home here as well! He was stamped on Confetti White cardstock(102028). Can you see that his eye is a Basic Rhinestone? The sentiment just seemed appropriate for this theme and it was stamped on Confetti White Cardstock as well.
Here’s the complete recipe for you:
Stamp Sets: Wonderfully Worn, Inspired by Nature, Animal Stories
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Bashful Blue, White Vellum, Confetti White
Ink: Pacific Point classic, Bashful Blue classic
Accessories: Jewels Basic Rhinestones, 1-3/4″ Circle Punch, Big Shot, Circles Die #2, 2-3/8″ Scallop Circle Extra-large Punch, Scallop Edge Punch, Stampin’ Sponge
There you go, a cute “all occasion” card for my stash.
I’m off to work on the Stamp-a-holic’s 10-minute challenge, so come on back tomorrow to check it out. Thanks a bunch for visiting and we’ll see you again tomorrow.
Cheers;

This is so cute, I love how you did the sentiment. Great combo of challenges too. Thanks so much for playing along with my sketch this week.
