Happy Tuesday to you. Have you noticed that there seem to be a lot of animal prints out there? Both for home decorating and clothing.
I was browsing through a popular catalogue the other day and was inspired by this picture.
I thought, well, let’s see if I can re-create that look on a greeting card….. Out came Fox & Friends and my collection of oval punches. The outcome was this card…….
The card base is Chocolate Chip paired with Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla. I punched out all the oval shapes, glued them on the Crumb Cake layer and then ran the whole thing through the Big Shot using the Texture Plates Kit #4. It’s difficult to see in the photo unfortunately, but it gives the card the subtle look of fur.
The giraffes were stamped in Chocolate Chip Classic ink and then punched out with the 1-3/4″ x 7/8″ Oval punch. I added the So Saffron layer for a bit more color and then offset them onto another oval cut with the same punch size.
