Good Sunday morning to you and thanks so much for stopping by today. Stamping 411 has another great sketch posted for this week, so I just had to play along. Here is the sketch. And, here is my interpretation. Bambi says “Merry Christmas to you”. Do you see the great frame around Bambi? I learned how to do that from Kim Burmeister on Paper Craft Planet. It’s actually quite easy and adds that little extra something to the card.
The sentiment comes from the Hostess set, Occasional Quotes and instead of matting the oval, I just used a sponge dauber to add some colour around the edges. I also “masked” part of the sentiment so just the part I wished to use would show.
RECIPE: Stamp Sets: Lovely As A Tree(115026), Forest Friends(113748), Occasional Quotes(120142) Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Deck the Halls Designer Paper(120810), Very Vanilla Ink: Cherry Cobbler Classic(119669), Old Olive Classic(102277), Early Espresso Classic(119670) Accessories: Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch(119275), Sponge Dauber(102892), 5/8″ Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon(117291), 3/16″ Metallic Brads(119741)
That’s it for today. Thanks again for stopping by – I really appreciate your visits. Cheers;
