I finally got my hands on the Birthday Blooms stamp set and it is perfect for watercolouring!
I’m also playing along with 2 challenges for this card, the Create with Connie and Mary colour challenge and pulled up an old sketch from Freshly Made Sketches. The colours are Calypso Coral, Night of Navy and Smoky Slate and I pulled out the Calypso Coral Ink Refill and went to work with my Aqua Painters. First though, start with the Shimmery White cardstock, it is much better for watercolouring than Whisper White!
I first stamped that beautiful bloom using Whisper White Craft ink and then heat embossed it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. It leaves a great outline for watercolouring.
