BIRTHDAY CHEER TO YOU ALL YEAR

It’s time for a birthday card don’t you think?  I pulled out the Parcels & Petals stamp set for today’s card and went to work!

This card features Highland Heather with touches of Gorgeous Grape, So Saffron and Pear Pizzazz!  The flowers come as a group on one stamp and I felt that they needed a little boost, so used a Stampin’ Sponge to add a bit of So Saffron directly to the stamp and over-stamped them.  Then I added those tiny leaves and for good measure, fussy-cut a couple to add to the greeting label.

I was following along with this new sketch from CAS(E) this sketch and like the way it all turned out as a clean and simple card.
