The fall colours in and around our yard are breathtaking so it just seemed fitting to play along with the SUO Challenge this week. We’re to use Autumn Colors and I used the MOJO Monday sketch for the layout! I’m loving this card….
….and see – the Bloom with Hope hostess set can be used for any season! The flowers images would be great done up in Christmas colours as well. I trimmed the sewn edges from the Burlap ribbon just to make it a little smaller in width.
Tips: If you cut carefully between the weave it will leave a nice smooth edge. Use a piece of Sticky Strip to secure the ribbon ends to the back of the mat.
The branches of leaves were inspired by this photo…
…and I coloured them using 3 different color assortments from the Blendabilities. Very therapeutic!
