Hi and welcome! Today’s card features a big blue butterfly hovering over some very pretty flowers.
I was happy to see that the Beautiful Butterflies Hybrid Embossing Folder bundle(164614) was sticking around so had a ton of fun with it.
I started with a lovely floral pattern from the Floral Impressions designer series Paper(165603) and then added that pretty blue butterfly done up in Misty Moonlight ink. Then I got the bright idea to use the same piece that I had brushed ink on for the background. The butterfly is a little bigger than that piece so I had to do some “fancy-footwork” to make it all fit together, lol.
It looks pretty good though so I will be submitting it to play along with the new sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for this week.
