BLUE IS IN - Cynthia Stevenson, Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Hi there. Today’s card features a garden of blue flowers for a sweet birthday greeting.

I used the now retired Impressions Abloom Bundle. The matching Floral Impressions designer series paper isn also retired but I used it anyway as a backup for the lovely circle of blue flowers. A combinati0n of Misty Moonlight and Night of Navy ink was used for them a I added leaves and centres in Silver Emboss powder.

I’m playing along today with this new challenge from The Paper Players, which has these blues and silver as the challenge.

The birthday wishes are from the still available Simply Said stamp set(163756).

Cynthia, I think this is so beautiful! I love the blues against the crispness of the white. The touches of silver are just right as is the choice of the embossed panel. You make this set shine! Thanks for playing along with us at The Paper Players.

Cynthia, this is gorgeous. I love the way you split your card base and the little touch of ribbon works beautifully to separate the two areas. I also love the texture you created on the white panel. So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week
