Good Morning friends. Wow, it’s Thursday already and the week has flown by.
This week the challenge over at Late Night Stampers is to use lots of “bling” and the last challenge for Create with Connie and Julie is to make a Mother’s day card. So I did the “Polished Stone” technique for the background on glossy white cardstock. Then I stamped my flower image from “Messages for Mom” in the 4 corners. The “Mom” sentiment was stamped with Regal Rose classic ink, then overstamped with Versamark using my handy-dandy Stamp-a-ma-jig(love this tool). Irredescent Ice embossing powder was sprinkled over top and then heat set to add extra glitter. The flower was die cut using the Blossom Party Originals die and the big shot and then out came the Pretties Kit for some extra bling.
Recipe:
Stamp: Messages for Mom
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Whisper White, Glossy White
Ink: Regal Rose Classic, So Saffron Classic, Versamark
Accessories: Big Shot, Blossom Party Originals Die, Pretties Kit, Whisper White 5/8″ satin ribbon, Irredescent Ice EP, Heat Tool, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Sponge Dauber, Cotton puff, Alchohol.
Wishing you a wonderful day, see you tomorrow.
Cheers;
I love how you created the wreath with the one image from the set! Thanks for playing along with the Create with Connie and Julie challenge this week!
This is very pretty…I especially love the soft colors and the flowers stamped on such a cool background! Great job 🙂
Thanks for sharing! I always love the polished stone technique – I haven’t done it in a while – I need to use that again sometime soon.
