Good Friday Morning and welcome to the 10-minute sketch with the Stamp-a-holics! This week’s sketch is provided by our very talented Debbie Pike. What an “oval” idea!

Since July 1st is coming up quickly I felt that a card to celebrate Canada Day was a great idea. I used the new set, aptly named “Canada Day”, from the Summer Mini Catalogue and a generous helping of Real Red and Whisper White. Mr Big Shot and the Ovals Bigz Die helped considerably on this project as well. I stamped the firecracker image randomly on the Whisper White and the starburst image on a smaller panel. The 3/4″ Real Red Polka-Dot Grosgrain ribbon added a nice touch.
It wouldn’t be Canada without the red Maple Leaf and so we end up with a Happy July 1st Canada card done in 14 minutes and 28 seconds!
Recipe:
Stamp Set: Canada Day
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White
Ink: Real Red Classic
Accessories: 3/4″ Real Red Polka-Dot Grosgrain Ribbon, Big Shot, Ovals Die, Wide Oval Punch
