CHRISTMAS ROSES

Hi, today I stepped out of the box a bit to created these roses sending Christmas wishes.

The “stepping out of the box” part is the colours I chose.  The Season of Elegance specialty designer series paper(164144) has sheets of Pretty Peacock so I used that as a card base and went from there.  I embossed the mat with the Traditional Wreath 3D embossing Folder(165874) for texture to go with the gold.

The roses are compliments of the Lifetime of Love stamp set(162574) and matching dies(162583).  The roses were first heat embossed with gold powder and, after they cooled, I added colours with Stampin’ Blends.

Since the intention was for a Christmas card, I finally decided on the sentiment from the Traditional Labels Bundle(165865).  Lastly, a trio of the Low Profile Dots(164658) to blend with the gold.

I’m playing along with The Paper Players sketch challenge this week and I think that that label works with the sketch.
