Good Morning to you! Wow, we sure had a lot of rain over the weekend! I’m feeling a little bit like a duck – LOL!
Oh well, rainy days are perfect for sitting in my stamping studio and I made good use of the time. Here is what I came up with using a brand new stamp set called “Cherish Friendship”. Such lovely images in this set!
I also used a piece from a new Designer paper called, Pocketful of Posies for the background. Love this paper too!
Watercoloring was necessary(in my mind) for this pretty chair, so I stamped the image first using Stazon Jet Black onto Watercolor paper. Then, I gathered together ink pads in Rich Razzleberry, Marina Mist, River Rock and Soft Suede, and with Blender Pen in hand, began! Watercolor Paper is good to use for this technique as it allows you time to add or take away color without “pilling” too much.
I tied the double bow with help from Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow Maker and then wrapped it up with an Antique Brad and attached it firmly using Mini Glue Dots!
A handy greeting from “Thank You Kindly” finishes it off!
