Good morning and welcome. The weekend is here and I am spending the next couple of days in my stamp room. It’s the best place to be when the weather is cold. Today’s card was created using the Stampin’ Royalty Sketch #56.
Along with the Create with Connie & Mary Inspirational challenge.
I finally “broke down” and ordered the new Build A Cupcake Punch(121807) and the matching stamp set, Create A Cupcake(121982) from the Occasions Mini Catalogue. What a fun way to enjoy cupcakes without the calories – LOL!
The card base is Pretty In Pink and I layered a piece from the Love Impressions Designer paper on Chocolate Chip. Cupcakes and chocolate, a great combination in my mind.
The strip on the left side is also a piece from Love Impressions Designer paper and the pretty, scalloped border was made using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
I stamped two cupcakes with Chocolate Chip Classic Ink and one with Pretty in Pink Classic Ink, then punched them out with the Build a Cupcake Punch. This punch also cuts out the icing tops, so I went with the white and added some “sprinkles” to each one.
The small hearts were made with the Small Heart punch and dress up the sentiment. This was such a quick and easy card to make and I hope that the recipient enjoys it.
