On to my project for today. I’m thinking and working on Christmas – there are only 8 weeks left after all.
I pulled out an oldie but a goody for this card, “Delightful Decorations”, and went to work.
There’s lots going on here, I had the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die sitting out and with the help of whisper white and garden green card stock, created the borders.
Then I wondered what other colors to use, LOL. Have you ever done that? Started with an idea and then thought about what to put with it? Well, I decided on a card base of Whisper White and the pop of Cherry Cobbler and the plaid from Frostwood Lodge designer paper.
Then I needed ornaments – they were stamped with Cherry Cobbler classic ink, cut out and matted with a shape cut with the Ornament punch. I think the bow of Baker’s Twine finishes them off nicely. I popped the greeting up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and added some to the bottom ornament to pop it up too.
