It’s Friday and Welcome! It’s time to play with the Stampaholics!
Today we are working with a card sketch and have to get it done in 10 minutes! Can this be done? We’ll see…….
I started with a card base of Early Espresso(I love the richness of it) and added Crumb Cake(Yummy) and Very Vanilla. I made my own background paper by using the small stem image from Just Believe(120453) and “stampin off” with Crumb Cake classic ink and then sponged the edges with the same ink. The main image was stamped with Early Espresso classic ink and matted on Early Espresso. I stamped the small Very Vanilla circle using the “stamping off” method again and then stamped “friends” over top. Yes, I stamped this all first and then used the 1-1/4″ punch to make a perfect circle. Then I wrapped it all up with a length of 1-1/4″ Early Espresso Striped Grosgrain ribbon and a lovely bow with help from Lee Conrey’s Magic Bow maker.
Did I do this in 10 minutes? Heck no! It took 14 min. 11 sec. but I’m happy with this one (the other 2 hit the recycle bin – LOL).
Isn’t Mr. Timer cute? He just sits there and quietly counts away – no nagging or pesky buzzers!
RECIPE:
Stamp Set: Just Believe(120453)
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla
Ink: Crumb Cake Classic, Early Espresso Classic
Accessories: 1-1/4″ Early Espresso Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, 1-1/4″ Circle Punch, 1-3/8″ Circle Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stampin’ Sponge
I also want to show you the new decal that Carole’Anne made for my SUV. It’s great advertising and the colour matches the paint job perfectly! Thanks so much Carole’Anne. You can have her make one for you through her company – Mirror Image Decals & Signs.
OK, now it’s your turn to play. Create your project using the sketch provided and then hop on over to Carole’Anne’s blog and upload. Don’t forget to check out the other Design Team samples while you’re there and leave them some love won’t you.
Thanks a whole bunch for visiting today and we’ll see you all with some fresh ideas on Monday. Have a great weekend!
Cheers;

Beautiful, Cynthia. Love the neutrals, and the gorgeous bow. Did you get one of Lee’s bow makers? And this stamp set seems to be popular for today’s challenge!
