Good Tuesday morning and welcome! Since Fall is just around the corner, I decided to show you a project that I made using some wonderful new Designer Paper called “Spice Cake”. You will find it in the Holiday Mini catalogue and it is Beautiful!
I used a new stamp set called “Easy Events”(page 57 Idea Book) to add to the fall theme that is going on here. My grandma used to have a cuckoo clock so this little cutie brings back a nice memory. The image was stamped onto an oval of Very Vanilla card stock with Stazon Jet Black ink and then I colored it in using Classic Ink and a Blender Pen.
The rick rack was cut from Pool Party and More Mustard(nice color combo) using the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL die.
The cuckoo clock image includes the “hello” sentiment so I stamped it again, this time in Soft Suede Classic ink and cut it out with the Jewellery Tag punch. I trimmed it down and punched another shape in More Mustard and attached it with a brad from the Neutrals collection.
I think it’s cute and you will certainly be seeing more projects made with the beautiful Spice Cake Designer Series paper!
