Hello and welcome to a brand new week! We spend the weekend working on getting some clearing done on our lot and Wow, is it ever starting to look good! Our good friend Dan came over to run the little Bobcat hoe for us. Here’s a “before” picture just off our back deck.

Now, here’s what’s been cleared so far. Lots of room for lawn. Hmmmm, I think I see a ride-on lawn mower for Rusty next year!

And now, all cleared and with a little more prep, ready for sod.
This yard is going to evolve over time as our youngest daughter, Maureen, has been drawing out landscaping plans for us. She’s got some great ideas so it’s going to be a blast putting it all together!
I did take time for stamping though and grabbed the Create with Connie and Mary sketch for inspiration for a Father’s Day card.
I couldn’t wait to use the NEW Smoky Slate colour – doesn’t it go great with Primrose Petals?
Strange colour for a masculine card? I don’t think so – I’ve seem some pretty bright and colourful shirts out there for men! I also just had to use up some more of the Retiring Patio Party Designer paper and love this argyle design.
Tip: I used a Glue Dot to hold the Linen Thread in place while tying the knot.
