Welcome to sunny Tuesday and thank you for stopping by. I’ve been playing with another fabulous stamp set from the Summer Mini catalogue called Fabulous Florets!
This set is another that is perfect for the water coloring technique and since the Watercolor Wonder Crayons were still on my desk, I went right to work.
The flowers were stamped on watercolor paper with Stazon Jet Black ink and then I applied a wash of Daffodil Delight with my Aqua Painter. A dab of Old Olive was used for the centers. These dried lighter than I had intended but I like the contrast with the card stock.
While the flowers were drying, I stamped the long, leafy stem on Very Vanilla card stock to use as the base for the flowers. Each flower was adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional along the stem for extra dimension.
Then I went “punch happy” and created the “lattice” at the bottom of the card with the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch.
The sentiment from this stamp set is just perfect and finishes off the card so nicely.
