Good morning to you. So sorry that I’m late with posts this week. I’ve been recovering from a very nasty cold! Ugh – ’tis the season I guess.
To take my mind off how crappy I felt, I stamped! Stamping always makes me feel better! I used the colours listed in the Create with Connie and Mary challenge for this week, Cajun Craze, Bermuda Bay and Crushed Curry and come up with this fall-themed greeting card.
I pulled out a stamp set that needed some love, Harvest Blessings(CM 126452) and added a touch of Sweater Weather designer paper( love the designs in this package!) and went to work.
After I had stamped the basket image with Crushed Curry ink, I daubed it with touches of Cajun Craze to add a subtle “fall” look. The overlapping greeting was done just by marking the edge of the framelit and then cutting just to the pencil mark on the image. I made sure to bring the greeting piece out of the framelit to rest on top while running it through the Big Shot. It’s a pretty cool idea, don’t you think?
