FANCY IS AS FANCY DOES

I’m moving from birthdays today to a fancy card.  The Paper Players posted a “Black Tie” challenge and so this card has a lovely lady all dressed up and ready to celebrate the new year.

It took several tries to get the picture done without glare – there is a lot of Silver Foil paper on this card!  I paper-pieced her dress with silver foil(is silver lame in style?) and coloured the hem and waistband with the Melon Mambo assortment Blendabilities.  The rest of her used the Skin Tone Assortment.

How did I get those stripes – I used the Stylish Stripes embossing folder on a piece of silver foil and then used the Stampin’ Trimmer to cut each stripe – easy!
