FEATHERED FUN - Cynthia Stevenson, Stampin Up! Demonstrator

Hi, today’s card is all about our feathered friends.

Aww, we have two sweet parrots from the Feathered Fun stamp set(165336) that I had a lot of fun colouring. I started with a card base of Lemon Lime Twist and for the background, added a strip of the Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape(165269). I’ve never used Washi tape before and this roll is lovely and measures 3-1/4″ wide.

A little texture was needed to give a good background for those parrots so I used the Pressed Flowers Embossing Folder(165614) on a piece that measures 5-1/2″ x 2-1/2″.

I used the Extraordinary Flora Bundle(165245) so I could add those two pretty flowers as well.

This is supposed to be a “clean & simple” card to play along with The Paper Players this week. But I just couldn’t help adding the extras.

Beautiful, Cynthia! The colors are exquisite. I love how you colored the birds. I have not tried Washi Tape like this, and you have inspired me to try it. I am so glad you shared this wonderful card with us at The Paper Players this week!

Cynthia, the parrots are really pretty and lovely as anchors for the sentiment. The washi tape works well to add interest to the background and is a pretty design too. Thanks for joining in this week at the Paper Players!
