What a wonderful weekend we had! Great weather and fun times with our grandchildren! Even though the weather was so fine, I still found some time to get some stamping done!
I just had to play with the very cute Easy Events stamp set and the Stamping 411 sketch was perfect to showcase just one of the images in this great all occasion set.
Since sunny spring is here, I chose the little bundle of flowers for this card.
I used the masking technique to stamp just the 3 flowers several times across the whisper white panel. And then stamped the greeting twice using the same technique. It’s fun to just color with markers and that is how I got the cute little garden of flowers.
The designer paper is from the Flirtatious Specialty Designer pack and is retiring at the end of May. So is the 1/4″ pumpkin pie grosgrain ribbon which was layered over 3/8″ whisper white taffeta.
It’s an interesting color combination, but the more I worked with it, the more I liked it.
