FLOWERS IN OMBRE

Good day to you!  Today I’m using the Stampin’ Up! Ombre ink pads to create this pretty card.

Do you remember the Botanical Blooms stamp set and matching framelits?  I brought them out to show off using the Rich Razzleberry and Calypso Coral Ombre ink pads.  The background paper from the Succulent Garden Designer series paper sets them off nicely too!  I added the greeting from the Crazy About You stamp set to bring all the pieces together.  Sweet!

TIP:  There’s a trick to using these pads so you don’t get lines between each shade of colour.  Instead of tapping up and down as we usually do, you need to move the stamp gently up and down and around in half circles to get the ombre look.
